Products Description
IS220PDIOH1A is a discrete input/output module within the GE Mark VIe series distributed control system. It serves as a critical component for digital signal communication between the control system and field devices.
Type: Discrete I/O module, also known as an I/O Pack.
Purpose: Serves as the electrical connection and communication bridge between the GE Mark VIe control system and field devices such as switches, sensors, relays, solenoid valves, motor starters, etc.
Dual Functionality: Integrates both discrete input (similar to PDIA) and discrete output (similar to PDOA) capabilities, enabling simultaneous reception of digital input signals and issuance of digital output commands.

Key Features
Input/Output Capabilities:
Typically accepts up to 24 contact inputs.
Typically manages up to 12 relay outputs (Form C contacts).
Network Connectivity: Equipped with two independent RJ45 Ethernet ports for communication with the Mark VIe controller's I/O network. This facilitates redundant configurations (such as TMR triple redundancy) and distributed control.
Built-in Processing Capability: The module incorporates a shared processor board and a dedicated data acquisition board, enabling local data processing and control functions.
Installation Method: It is not used independently and must be mounted on a specific terminal board, such as:
IS200TDBSH1A/H2A (TDBS): For simplex applications.
IS200TDBTH1A/H2A (TDBT): For Triple Redundancy (TMR) applications.
Power Supply: Powered via a three-pin power input connector, typically rated at 28.0 VDC.
Diagnostics: The front panel features LED indicators displaying system status, power status, and the status of each input/output channel, facilitating troubleshooting.
